Redshift Sports Quick-Release Aerobars let you transform your road bike into an aerodynamic triathlon machine. The clip-on aerobars attach or remove in seconds (without using any tools), letting you convert from road to aero positions at a moment's notice. Going for a group ride or a local road race? Remove the aerobars to ride a pure road bike. Doing a triathlon or long charity ride? Attach the aerobars and ride a comfortable aero position.
The patent-pending quick-release clamp locks the aerobars securely in the same position every time you attach them, and the integrated safety retention mechanism ensures that the bars stay locked in place until you decide to remove them. A huge range of adjustability lets you dial in your ideal aero position. Easily change pad width, stack height, and extension reach, and choose between multiple extension shapes to match your riding style.
Together with the Redshift Sports Dual-Position Seatpost (sold separately), the Quick-Release Aerobars give you a truly integrated aero position, without compromising your normal road setup. The optional computer mount and water bottle mount (both sold separately) integrate seamlessly with the aerobars, letting you carry all of your gear effortlessly.
Carbon aerobar extensions shave more than 70 grams per pair versus aluminium. The 3K carbon weave and gloss topcoat complement the look of any bicycle. The clamps and armrest plates are constructed from aerospace-grade 6061-T6 aluminium alloy. They are compatible with 26.0 and 31.8 mm handlebar diameters, and require 22 mm (7/8 inch) of straight cylindrical clamping length on either side of the bicycle stem. The aerobars weigh 560 g (S-bend extensions) or 570 g (L-bend extensions) including the handlebar clamps.
