GARBARUK XC Crank
With the new development made of aluminium, the Polish manufacturer Garbaruk offers its first crank set that is beautiful in its simplicity and light.
Many years of experience in the design and manufacture of light and beautiful chainrings have made it possible to reduce the weight of the crank so much that it can even hold a candle to some well-known carbon cranks. The two-piece design of the crank arms allowed weight to be reduced without having to compromise on rigidity. In addition, this structure makes it possible to technically and visually adapt the crank to your bike. A highlight is the selection of different anodized colors. It is possible to keep the crank and chain ring in the same color or to combine different colors.
To assemble the crankset, you need nothing more than a 12 mm, a 2 mm Allen key and a Shimano Hollowtech II tool (TL-FC34 bottom bracket assembly SM-BB93). Garbaruk recommends a torque of 50 Nm for mounting the crank arms and 35 Nm for attaching the chain ring. The crank arms are easily removed using the integrated crank arm puller and a standard bottom bracket wrench for cartridge bearings.
